Nina’s Covid-19 safety and hygiene measures

Nina loves it when you enjoy yourself, but no matter whether you’re partying with friends, celebrating with family, or chilling alone, our number one priority is your health and welfare.  Since the emergence of Covid-19 we have enhanced our already stringent hygiene and safety procedures throughout the Nina ecosystem, employing state of the art technology and standard beating protocols. Here’s a list of what we’re doing, and what we ask of you in return.

What we’re doing around Nina’s public areas.

  • You’ll find infrared thermometers at all hotel entrances.
  • Surgical masks, gloves and sanitization items are supplied to all teammates; we are required to wear masks at all times and be mindful about hygiene.
  • Germagic™, a smart coating proven to be effective in killing viruses, bacteria and even hard-to-kill spores has been applied throughout all of our premises.
  • We conduct regular staff sanitization training.
  • We’ve installed hundreds of disinfectant sprayers and increased the frequency of disinfection and sanitization.
  • Should we identify a suspected case of Covid-19, Nina is fully prepared with full protective gear for our team members. This includes head coverings, eye covers, masks, protective coats, gloves and shoe covers, allowing us to safely handle the situation and the resultant deep cleaning activities.
  • In the event of a confirmed case, relevant rooms or floors will be sealed off and deep cleaning and disinfection will be undertaken in accordance with Government guidelines. Contact tracing will be employed to identify and support any team members who may have to test and isolate should there have been any exposure risk.

 And what we ask of you.

  • Please wear a surgical mask at all times whilst in all public areas – we don’t mind you removing it temporarily to eat or drink though, just remember to pop it back on afterwards.  Thank you.

What we’re doing for the hotel and its guests

Temperature checks at check-in and declaration of the travel history in 14 days before and after their stay

  • We conduct temperature checks and collect travel history declarations from all guests
  • You’ll find antiseptic wipes and mask folders in your room
  • We disinfect all room key cards before check-in and after check-out
  • We launder self-isolated guests’ towels and linens separately.  That’s done in accordance to the Hospital Authority’s medical-standard laundry guidelines.
  • And if we notice guests feeling unwell, we’re obligated to inform the authorities concerned and make appropriate arrangements, all in accordance with the Department of Health’s guidelines.

And what we ask of you.

  • Please fill out the health status declaration form.
  • Please wear a surgical mask at all times whilst in all public areas – we don’t mind you removing it temporarily to eat or drink though, just remember to pop it back on afterwards.  Thank you.

What we’re doing for restaurants and guests

  • Every one of our service staff wears a surgical mask and gloves throughout.
  • Our talented Chefs have to wear a surgical mask and gloves whilst handling and cooking food.
  • There are infrared thermometer at all entrances.
  • You’ll find antiseptic wipes and mask folders on your table.
  • Operation hours and maximum number of persons per table etc are subject to the modes of operation of the premise. For details, please contact our restaurant in advance. 
  • You’ll find disinfectant sprayers and sanitizing gels throughout.

And what we ask of you.

A Friendly Reminder

According to the latest “The Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation (Amendment) Ordinance 2020”, please be reminded that our hotel rooms are for accommodation only and a maximum of four registered guests (except in the same family) are allowed to stay in the guest room unless specified.
