L’hotel Group is proud to launch the Central Kitchen this February 2021, a brand new initiative to centralise the Group’s dessert and pastry offerings available throughout all hotel properties. The Executive Pastry Chef leads the group chef team in creating year-round staples and premium quality festive treats available at restaurants and for orders from L’hotel Group online boutique.

Welcoming the Year of the Ox are two festive-exclusive cakes, available during Feb 5-28, 2021. Mirroring traditional auspicious symbolism, Chef Ma’s Chinese New Year cakes will take the form of a traditional tangerine: Prosperity (HK$338, one pound each) features strawberries and cream; and Fortune (an individual cake at HK$48 each), a sweet and tangy yuzu mousse cake with tangerine exterior. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Blooming Love (HK$368, one pound each) cake is a heart-shaped strawberry cream cake, where red roses embellish the pink. Elegantly wrapped with the festive-edition packaging, the heart-shaped Palmier is always one of ever-popular gifts to share with the beloved ones and valuable business partners. Available online now are the Original and Sesame flavours, priced at HK$128 for 12 pieces and HK$188 for 25 pieces respectively. A wide range of whole and individual cakes available at buffets and for takeaways at various hotels across Hong Kong.
